Prime Ministers of EurAsEC states to discuss anti-crisis measures

The leaders of the EurAsEC member states will discuss in St. Petersburg the measures to overcome the consequences of the world financial crisis, the agency reports citing television channel Vesti.

Almaty. December 11. Kazakhstan Today - The leaders of the EurAsEC member states will discuss in St. Petersburg the measures to overcome the consequences of the world financial crisis, the agency reports citing television channel Vesti.

According to the television channel, the main questions of the agenda of the session of the EurAsEC Interstate Council - joint efforts to overcome the consequences of the world financial crisis, the list of which and the plan of their realization had been confirmed by the decision of the Interstate Council of the Community at the level of prime ministers of June 9, 2009.

The session participants are expected to approve the interstate target program Innovative Biotechnologies, which will be one of the tools for implementation of the strategy and priority directions of development of science and technologies in the state-participants and will promote coordination of the interstate and inter-industry cooperation in the sphere of development of biotechnologies and manufacture of bio products.

According to the television channel, the session participants will sign an agreement on the main principles of currency policy of the EurAsEC member states on regulation and control of the operations connected with capital circulation, which will define the principles of the currency policy carried out by the parties and the cooperation agreement in the sphere of education reflecting the standard-legal bases of cooperation in the educational sphere.
