Tallinn port is interested in construction for Kazakhstan of the terminal for transportation of mineral oil, coal, metal and grain, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan.

Astana. January 18. Kazakhstan Today - Tallinn port is interested in construction for Kazakhstan of the terminal for transportation of mineral oil, coal, metal and grain, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry of Transport, Vice Minister of Kazakhstan, Erkyn Dusembaev, met the delegation headed by Honorable Consul of Kazakhstan in the Estonian Republic, Karl Yury Piht, in the Ministry of Transport and Communications on January 15, 2010. As a part of the delegation, there were also the Honorable Consul of Kazakhstan in Finland, Seppo Lendroos, and the Honorable Consul of the Estonian Republic in Kazakhstan, Bibigul Balpyk.

"Tallinn port demonstrates interest in investment and construction for the Republic of Kazakhstan of the terminal for transportation of mineral oil, coal, metal and grain with the condition of creation of a special economic zone (СЭЗ). It gives a chance for Kazakhstan to have an access to the European markets without any intermediaries. Besides, Estonia is interested in the questions of formation of tariffs for railway transportation.
