Tazhin, Bordyuzha discussed questions of political cooperation

Astana. March 27. Kazakhstan Today - The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Marat Tazhin and the CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha discussed the questions of political cooperation in Astana on Wednesday, the agency reports.

"The first goal of the visit is to report to the top management of Kazakhstan on the situation in CSTO, on the course of realization of the decisions accepted by the presidents in Dushanbe and Minsk and on preparation for the session of the Council of Collective Safety, Nikolay Bordyuzha said in the interview.

The CSTO Secretary General noted that during the negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Marat Tazhin he reported on the situation concerning political cooperation, "the steps on coordination of foreign policy of the states."

"The second goal - participation in the session of the Coordination Council of the chairmen of antinarcotics structures of the CSTO member states. The session participants will consider a broad range of questions, including further cooperation of antinarcotics departments," CSTO Secretary General said.

As it was informed earlier, the session of the Coordination Council of the chairmen of the competent bodies for counteraction to illegal circulation of drugs of the CSTO member states is taking place in Astana today, March 27.
