Almaty to host international events in framework of OSCE chairmanship of Kazakhstan

Almaty will host international events on May 26 - 27th in the framework of the forthcoming presidency of Kazakhstan in the OSCE. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed during Monday's briefing, the agency reports.

Astana. May 26. Kazakhstan Today - Almaty will host international events on May 26 - 27th in the framework of the forthcoming presidency of Kazakhstan in the OSCE. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed during Monday's briefing, the agency reports.

According to Y. Ashikbayev, the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan along with the OSCE Center in Almaty will hold regional seminar 'Measures of Trust and Security. 10 years after the Vienna Document 1999. Challenges and New Approaches in Central Asia and Caucasus'.

"According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty will also host on May 28 the international scientific-practical conference devoted to the OSCE and the democratization processes in Central Asia.

"Moscow will host on May 27, foreign affairs ministers' consultations of Kazakhstan and Russia with participation of Kazakhstan delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister, Konstantin Zhigalov," the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan said.
