Director OSCE/ODIHR notes transparency and democratic character of parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan

Astana. November 8. Kazakhstan Today - The director of OSCE bureau of democratic institutes and human rights Christian Shtrohal notes good organization of the elections, their transparency and democratic character. He stated his opinion during the meeting with the chairman of the Commission of Human Rights at the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Majilis deputy Saginbek Tursunov on Wednesday.

According to the Majilis press service, during the meeting taken place on Wednesday the main directions of development of democracy in Kazakhstan were discussed.

"As a whole, OSCE/ODIHR noted good organization of the elections, their transparency and democratic character," the message of the press service of the chamber widespread in Wednesday states.

According to the press service, one of the goals of arrival of Christian Shtrohal in Kazakhstan is summing up supervision of the elections of the deputies in the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
