Elections to Senate of Parliament met requirements of international democratic standards - Committee for Control over Elections

The elections in the Senate of Parliament met the requirements of the international democratic standards, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Republican Association Committee for Control over Elections.

Astana. October 7. Kazakhstan Today - The elections in the Senate of Parliament met the requirements of the international democratic standards, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Republican Association Committee for Control over Elections.

According to the press release, "the elections of deputies of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan passed in conditions of competitive and correct struggle according to the election legislation of Kazakhstan and met the requirements of the international democratic standards."

Republican Association Committee for Control over Elections has noted significant improvement of administration of elections, openness and transparency of the work of the election commissions, and effective work of Central Election Committee of Kazakhstan.

"For the first time the elections observers have not received any complaints regarding any obstacles for realization of their mission," the press service informs.
