Nazarbayev arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in CSTO informal summit

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the informal summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

Bishkek. July 30. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the informal summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the press service, the airplane №1 of the President of Kazakhstan landed at the international airport in Tamchy in Issyk Kul. Tomorrow, N. Nazarbayev will take part in the summit, which will be held at the coast of Issyk Kul in Cholpon-Ata.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the forthcoming summit, its participants will consider approaches and practical measures on formation of the coordinated information policy of the CSTO member states and will exchange opinions concerning possible construction on the bank of Issyk Kul of the sports base of the CSTO member states.

The leaders of the delegations participating in the CSTO informal summit will hold bilateral meetings. The summit will come to an end on August 1.

As informed earlier, the informal summit of the leaders of the CSTO member states will be held on July 31 - August 1 in Cholpon-Ata. During the informal summit, the presidents of the CSTO member states will discuss the questions of international security and the work of the organization.
