Nazarbayev signed amendments to legislation concerning public administration and self-government

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on amendments and additions to the Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning local public administration and self-government, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on amendments and additions to the Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning local public administration and self-government, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

According to the press service, the head of the state signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on amendments and additions to the Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning local public administration and self-government directed at improvement of the activity of the institutions of local government, local representative and agencies.

The text of the law is published in press.

As informed earlier, "the Basic Law contains the base parameters of the Kazakhstan model of local self-government aiming at rapprochement of the systems of local public administration and self-government," the Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan, Zagipa Balieva said.

The law introduces the amendment 31 to the Laws on Local Government, on Administrative-Territorial Division, on Public Associations, on Emergencies of Natural and Technogenic Character.
