Nazarbayev signed law on preventive maintenance of offences

The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the law on preventive maintenance of offences directed at defining of legal, economic, social and organizational bases for preventive maintenance of offences, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Astana. April 29. Kazakhstan Today - The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the law on preventive maintenance of offences directed at defining of legal, economic, social and organizational bases for preventive maintenance of offences, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

According to the press service, the head of state signed the law on amendments and additions to some acts of Kazakhstan concerning preventive maintenance of offences directed at bringing the acts in conformity with the law on preventive maintenance of offences.

The text of the laws has been published in mass media.

As informed earlier, the purpose of the law on preventive maintenance of offences is strengthening of legality, law and order, protection of the rights and freedom of citizens, formation of full-scale and effective system of preventive maintenance of offences, and improvement of interaction of the law enforcement authorities, local government, law enforcement bodies, social protection institutions, public associations, and citizens.
