Premiums and grants of President presented to Kazakhstan journalists

On the threshold of the Day of Press and TV Kazakhstan State Secretary Kanat Saudabayev presented a group of journalists the premium and grants of the President of Kazakhstan on Friday, the agency reports.

Astana. June 30. Kazakhstan Today - On the threshold of the Day of Press and TV Kazakhstan State Secretary Kanat Saudabayev presented a group of journalists the premium and grants of the President of Kazakhstan on Friday, the agency reports.

"I would like to note an important role of journalists of our country in coverage of political and economic changes in Kazakhstan. Owing to your work, dear representatives of mass-media, Kazakhstan citizens learn about news of our country, its successes and problems from television screens, newspapers, and web portals," the State Secretary said addressing journalists.

According to the president's press service, this year members of Public Commission on awarding premiums and grants of the President of Kazakhstan in the field of mass media considered 21 candidates suggested by public associations, agencies, creative unions and the state bodies of the Republic.

Premiums of the President were awarded to the General Director of Litter Media Company Yerlan Bekhozhin - for a series of publications on actual international themes, to the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Central Asia Monitor Bigeldy Gabdullin- for creation of the television program Serious conversation in telechannel Astana, Director of information-analytical programs of the Republican television and radio corporation Kazakhstan Bibigul Zheksenbay - for contribution to development of domestic television journalism, to TV Director of television channel BBC in Kazakhstan Aydos Kydyrma for the documentary film Dreams devoted to the capital of Kazakhstan - Astana, a commentator of the newspaper Panorama Jaroslav Razumov - for coverage of the processes of political and economic modernization of the Kazakhstan society.
