President discussed with Foreign Minister of Turkey prospects of development of Kazakhstan-Turkish relations

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, discussed with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic, Ahmet Davutoglu, the prospects of development of Kazakhstan-Turkish relations in trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Astana. February 11. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, discussed with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic, Ahmet Davutoglu, the prospects of development of Kazakhstan-Turkish relations in trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

According to the press service, N. Nazarbayev met A. Davutoglu. During the conversation, the officials discussed the prospects of development of Kazakhstan-Turkish relations in trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The head of state expressed satisfaction with the course of realization of the arrangements reached in October, 2009 during his official visit to Turkey and during the bilateral meetings at the summit in the city Nahchyvan (the Azerbaijan Republic) during the summit of heads of Turkic-speaking states.

As informed earlier, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Turkish Republic signed the memorandum of intentions between the Ministry of Emergency of Kazakhstan and the General Directorate of Emergency Management of Turkish Republic and the memorandum of mutual understanding between the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan and the Statistical Institute of Turkey on cooperation in the area of statistics.
