President signed amendments in intellectual property legislation

Astana. March 5. Kazakhstan Today - The Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law on amendments and additions in the acts of the Republic Kazakhstan concerning intellectual property directed at development of innovative processes, the president's press service informed.

As it was informed earlier, the law provides the change of the procedure of patenting of inventions, reduction of terms of delivery of security documents and improvement of the order of examination of applications. The introduced amendments will replace a preliminary patent and procedure of its delivery with a new kind of security document - the innovative patent. Such replacement is defined by the requirement of development of innovative processes in the country.

The speeded up procedure of receiving security documents with the elements of verifying examination will provide an opportunity to the owner of this document full and duly protection of technical development, licensing of technologies and speeding up of introduction of innovations in manufacture.
