144 117 school graduates to take UNT

Astana. June 4. Kazakhstan Today - 144 117 school graduates will take the uniform national testing (UNT). Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic Farhad Kuanganov informed today during the selector meeting in the government, the agency reports.

"More than 174 thousand graduates finish schools this year, 82 % or 144 117 young people submitted application for UNT," F. Kuanganov said. More than 83 thousand graduates were trained in the Kazakh language and more than 60 thousand - in Russian. 7 419 graduates of the national schools with Uigur, Uzbek and Tadjik languages of instruction will take final state certification in the form of traditional examinations and will participate in complex testing in July.

Vice Minister reminded that UNT this year will be carried out on June 10- June 15 in 154 testing points organized on the basis of 51 high schools and 103 high schools. "The graduates will take four subjects: Kazakh or Russian depending on the language of instruction, mathematics, history of Kazakhstan and one of the subjects at the choice of depending on the selected speciality," F. Kuanganov explained.

521 million KZT has been allocated in the Republican budget to organize the testing.
