Almaty. July 26. Kazakhstan Today - Police warned residents about an armed criminal in Almaty, Kazakhstan Today reports.
"The man who shot at the policeman on July 24 has not been arrestedyet. Last time he was seen at the intersection of Raimbek and Suyunbay streets. According to witnesses, he got off the bus number 79 to the bus stop near Merey shopping center," the press-service of the Police Department of Almaty informed.
At present, policemen of Zhetysu Internal Affairs Directorate conducted search operations in the shopping center. There is an assumption that the offender could go there for clothes.
The police reminded that "On July 24 of this year, a man wearing blue jeans and bare-chested fled the scene. Those who have seen him or know of his whereabouts, please report it by phone: 254 40 18, 701 714 35 84 or 102. Remember that the offender is armed."
Before he started shooting, the suspect managed to burgle a private home. The hostess on the same day declared it to the police. The offender stole 5000 U.S. dollars, a gold chain, worth 385 thousand tenge and non-lethal handgun "OSA".
