Baikonur preparation for space launches began

Baikonur. February 5. Kazakhstan Today - Preparation for the next space launches began at the cosmodrome Baikonur, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Federal Space Center.

According to the FSC, assembly and preparation for the launch of two rockets Soyuz TMA-10 are taking place in the assembly-experimental body of the platform 112.

The launch of a booster rocket Soyuz-FG that will launch Soyuz TMA -10 to the orbit with the crew of the 15th basic expedition has been planned for April 9, 2007. The expedition includes the cosmonauts Fedor Yurchihin and Oleg Kotov (Russia) and the space tourist Charles Shimoni (USA).

The preparation for the launch of the second rocket Soyuz-FG will begin later. Preparatory operations and pre-launch preparation of the rocket and satellites Globastar have been planned for the beginning of April 2007.
