Kazakhstan, Japan to sign joint statement on strengthening partnership in peaceful use of atomic energy

Astana. April 30. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and Japan will sign the joint statement on strengthening strategic partnership in the field of peaceful use of atomic energy. The Kazakh official MFA representative Yerzhan Ashikbayev informed on it today at a briefing, the correspondent of agency transfers.

According to Y. Ashikbayev, signing of the joint document is planned to take place during the visit of the representative of Japanese business-delegation headed by the Minister of Economics, Commerce and Industry of Japan Akira Amari on April, 29-30.

During the visit more than 20 contracts between the Kazakhstan national companies and the Japanese corporations in the sphere of atomic engineering are expected to be signed.
