Kyrgyzstan President proposed Agriculture Minister for Prime Minister

Bishkek. January 26. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev proposed the Minister of Agriculture, Hydro and Processing Industry Azim Isabekov for the post of the Prime Minister of the country, the agency reports.

The decision to propose A. Isabekov was accepted today at the meeting of the President with the Parliament speaker, the chairmen of the parliamentary committees and fractions. The deputies expressed confidence that the proposed candidature will be supported by the necessary votes.

As it was informed earlier, the decision of voluntary resignation of all Kyrgyzstan cabinet headed by F. Kulov was accepted on December 19, 2006. The government of the Republic resigned "to open the road for the new reforms". All the structure of the government of Kyrgyzstan remained in office to execute their duties before the new cabinet appointment. Since January 18, the President of Kyrgyzstan proposed F. Kulov for the Prime Minister post two times, but he did not receive the needed number of votes.
