Astana. April 30. Kazakhstan Today - Spread of swine flu is not connected with consumption of pork. The communique of the American Embassy in Kazakhstan informs.

"As of April, 28th, according to the information of the US Centers under Control and Preventive Maintenance of Diseases, 64 cases of human swine influenza A (H1N1) virus have been identified in the USA.

The flu caused by virus H1N1, is transferred from people to people. None of the identified cases of infection of this disease in the USA has been caused by contact with pigs. The US Centers under Control and Preventive Maintenance of Diseases, World Trade Organization and the World Organization for Animal Health informed that there is no evidence that this virus is transferred through meat," the message informs.
