Tax laws in connection with introduction to Customs Union not to be changed

The tax laws of Kazakhstan in connection with introduction to the Customs Union will not be changed. Vice Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Zhanar Aytzhanova, informed today during the press conference in Astana, the agency reports.

Astana. October 22. Kazakhstan Today - The tax laws of Kazakhstan in connection with introduction to the Customs Union will not be changed. Vice Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Zhanar Aytzhanova, informed today during the press conference in Astana, the agency reports.

"There will be no changes in the tax laws, as, within the Customs Union, they have the right to apply various levels of tax rates. VAT, as of today, is at the lowest level. We do not harmonize taxes, we harmonize customs duties rates, which will be applied in the Customs Union," Z. Aytzhanova said.
