The third satellite Glonass-M intended for launch on September 25 has been delivered to Baikonur, the agency reports referring to a source at the cosmodrome.

Baikonur. August 28. Kazakhstan Today - The third satellite Glonass-M intended for launch on September 25 has been delivered to Baikonur, the agency reports referring to a source at the cosmodrome.

The space satellite Glonass-M was delivered to the air station Yubileyny by the transport plane.

After unloading of the space satellite Glonass-M with auxiliary equipment was transported to the assembly testing complex of the platform 92А-50 for pre-starting preparation.

The third of three satellites Glonass-M that are planned to be launched by means of the rocket carrier Proton-M was delivered on Wednesday. The first space satellite Glonass-M was delivered on August 11 and it has already undergone prestarting preparation. The second satellite Glonass-M was delivered on August, 20.

Space satellites Glonass-M were created in Reshetnikov Information Satellite Systems.

Launch of three space vehicles Glonass-M by means of the rocket carrier Proton-M is planned for September 25, 2008.
