Kazakhstan completed inventory of land for individual housing construction
To date, the inventory of lands allocated for individual housing construction has been fully completed. 305 land plots were inventoried.
Almaty. August 14. Kazakhstan Today - The inventory of lands allocated for individual housing construction has been fully completed, Kazakhstan Today reports.
"To date, the inventory of lands allocated for individual housing construction has been fully completed. 305 land plots were inventoried," Chairman of the Agency for Land Resources Management Kadyrkhan Otarov said at today's session of the Government, the Prime Minister's official website writes.
As the regional governors and mayors of Astana and Almaty inform, 305701 plots of land or 84% of the total 366080 land plots were subjected to the inventory. Thereat, about 44 thousand land plots are not used or used despite violations of the legislation. This makes 14% of the total number of inspected lands.
According to the Head of the Agency, about 9 thousand land plots occupying a territory of 1 thousand ha or 20% were returned to state ownership by means of cancellation of rental treaty. About 80% of the returned land plots are located in Akmola, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl and Kyzylorda regions.
The main reason for existence of underdeveloped lands allocated for individual housing construction is absence of infrastructure at the allocated plots of land. This points to the fact that the norms of land legislation are insufficiently implemented in the part of development of master plans and local area development plans which are used for complex planning of the local area development," Chairman of the Agency K.Otarov said.
He emphasized that in order to remedy the current situation, the Agency for Land Resources Management held visiting sessions and training seminars in all the regions of the country. As a result of these seminars and sessions, action plans on specific measures and terms of their implementation for every region were developed.
Besides, the Chairman of the Agency proposed to analyze submitted applications for allocation of lands for individual housing construction.

Kazakhstan produces over 1mn tons of meat in 11M2025
Kazakhstan’s livestock industry is showing steady growth across all key areas, Qazinform News Agency learned from the Ministry of Agriculture.
Positive dynamics is observed both in the number of farm animals and in the volume of products manufactured.
The cattle population increased by 2.7% to reach 8.3 million head. The number of calves rose to 2.8 million, which is 17.8% more compared to the same period last year.
The horse population grew by 6.9% to 4.4 million head, with 1 million foals born (an increase of 8.8%).
The number of camels rose by 6.3% to 300 thousand head, with 53.8 thousand camel calves (+5.9%).
The poultry population increased by 8.8% to 48.5 million head.
The sheep population reached 19.6 million head, with 7.7 million lambs born, showing a 5% increase.
During the reporting period, the country produced 1,021.6 thousand tons of meat of all types, which is 3% higher than in 2024. This includes: 358.8 thousand tons of beef (351.4 thousand tons in 2024), 111.8 thousand tons of mutton (109.1 thousand tons), 146.8 thousand tons of horse meat (140 thousand tons), 337.1 thousand tons of poultry meat (326.3 thousand tons), and others.
