In Kazakhstan, meat products increased in price, energyprom.kz reports.
Prices for horse meat went up by 2% over the month, and for chicken dinners - by 3%.
Meanwhile, prices for vegetables went down. For August, prices for fresh tomato went down by 17.3%, and for cucumber - by 12.9%. In addition, prices for potato reduced by 8% by July, for garlic - by 12.9%, and for onion and cabbage by 4.7% and 1.8%, respectively.
Prices for beets have significantly increased over the month by 2.4%.
As for fruits, prices for apples decreased by 1.5%, and for citrus fruits: for lemons (+1.7%) and oranges (+3.7%).
Speaking about flour products and cereal production, price changes are not observed. Only prices for millet (+1.1%) and rice (+2.6%) have seen change.
Prices for yeast have changed insignificantly (+1.4% by July), as well as for mayonnaise (+1.5%). Prices for drinks have not been changed.
At the same time, prices for meat products have gone up. Thus, for August prices for frost fish increased by 1%, and for horse meat - by 1.7%, and for chicken dinners - by 2.8%.
