Ashkhabad to host energy security conference on April 23- 24
Ashkhabad. April 13 Kazakhstan Today - Ashkhabad will host the conference on energy security on April 23-24th, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan informed the agency.
"The conference on energy security will take place in Ashkhabad on April 23-24th. The President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, invited representatives of the CIS countries to take part in the conference during the session of the CIS Ministers of Foreign Policy Departments of the CIS countries," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan informed.
"Turkmenistan suggests holding the open international dialogue to coordinate approaches in the energy market, to create the international legal mechanisms, and to protect the infrastructure of energy deliveries," the press service quotes the head of the state.
According to Turkmen experts, the conference participants will discuss the accident on the gas pipeline Central Asia - Center. The delivery of Turkmen gas to Russia stopped on the night of April, 9th on Turkmen gas pipeline Davletobat - Daryalyk due to the explosion.
