People need to think critically when they receive information from media

London. May 21. Kazakhstan Today - People need to think critically when they receive information from media. Dariga Nazarbayeva, said addressing the session participants 'Role and Influence of Media' during XII Women in Business International Forum in London, the agency reports.

During her speech Nazarbayeva focused on the influence of media on formation of public opinion. She emphasized the need to for people to critically perceive the information received from media. She also underlined the need for journalists to improve their professional skills to advance the standards of news broadcasting.
