President of Tajikistan discussed questions of cooperation with Kazakhstan, Iran and Russia leaders

The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, held a number of bilateral meetings with the leaders of Kazakhstan, Islamic Republic Iran and Russia, the agency reports referring to Asia-Plus.

Dushanbe. August 28. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, held a number of bilateral meetings with the leaders of Kazakhstan, Islamic Republic Iran and Russia, the agency reports referring to Asia-Plus.

According to the press service of Tajikistan leader, during E. Rahmon's meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the counterparts discussed a broad range of questions of cooperation, including development of cooperation between businessmen of both countries.

During the meeting with Iranian leader, Mahmud Ahmadinedzhad, the counterparts discussed prospects of cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran. Special attention has been paid to the question of construction of Sangtudinsky Hydro electro station-2, tunnel Chormagzak and electric lines. The leaders of two countries also discussed questions of cultural cooperation.

According to the press service, during the meeting the President of Tajikistan and the President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, considered the questions of development of economic relations between two strategic partners and the questions of integration within the limits of SCO and other international and regional organizations.
