"We discussed all the questions of mutual relations of regional security and the Afghanistan and Iran problems. I support the idea of convocation of the conference on Afghanistan either in Kabul, or in Astana. I am grateful that you have supported convocation of the OSCE summit in Astana. We have agreed to create the Commission Sarkozy - Nazarbayev," the President of Kazakhstan said.

N. Nazarbayev with satisfaction noted that the political dialogue of Kazakhstan and France carries an "intensive and confidential character." "France has become the first country in Europe that signed the contract on strategic partnership with Kazakhstan. France is one of the leading economic partners of Kazakhstan in the world," N. Nazarbayev noted.

"Goods turnover volume between our countries has grown by 10 times and has amounted to $6.5 billion."
