Council of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan session held in Almaty

The Council of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan session with participation of the chairmen of the national-cultural centers of the country under the presidency of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev took place on Tuesday, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The Council of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan session with participation of the chairmen of the national-cultural centers of the country under the presidency of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev took place on Tuesday, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

The Council session taken place in the House of Friendship in Almaty considered specific measures directed at qualitative improvement of activity of the Assembly in the view of its new status.

The State Secretary has noted unique experience of interethnic concord in the country where representatives of over 100 nationalities and 40 religions live. "Undoubtedly, huge merit in maintenance of stability in Kazakhstan belongs to the leader of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev, who from the first day of independence of the country has cherished peace and concord like the apple of his eye, Saudabayev said.

"Preservation and further strengthening of peace and concord in our land - the Republic of Kazakhstan - is the major priority of the President N. Nazarbayev, all state and public organizations of the country, and, certainly, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan should be the leader in this process. Only by common efforts, we will strengthen and increase our main wealth, basis of further development and prosperity of the Republic of Kazakhstan - peace and concord in our country," the State Secretary stated.
