Atyrau. April 19. Kazakhstan Today - Schoolgirl from Atyrau invented a new type of rocket fuel, Kazakhstan Todayreports.

"Synthesis of depressor connections and the possibility of improving physical and chemical properties of oil and oil products and their use for rocket fuel" is the name of the 11th grader, Gaukhar Zaydenova's work. In other words, the schoolgirl from Atyrau actually invented a new type of rocket fuel! The work has already attracted interest of the Russian scientists, who were among the jury of the 9thInternational scientific competitions for Space Research. All the participants received their works back after the competitions. But the jury kept Gaukhar's work for further study. Gaukhar now intends to patent her work, the AkZhaiyk newspaper reported.

Gaukhar is enamoured of chemistry since the 8th grade. She repeatedly won local and regional competitions. Seeing her potential, a professor of chemistry and biology Gulshat Hayrdenova decided to send her to international competitions.

"I wanted to find a topic which has not been considered before me," said Gaukhar. But it brought much work. She was conducting research on the refinery, speningall the time in the libraries and online resources, ordered editions from overseas. Some research papers had to be translated from English. All this work took two years. But it was worth it. Gaukhar took the second place in the section "Power and fuel chemistry", and has received a certificate allowing her not to participate in the UNT and at the same time to enter any university of Kazakhstan, along with invitations from several Russian technical universities.

Her teammate Ayazhan Zholdaskali, a 10th grader, under the guidance of Gulziya Beysimkova took the third place in the "Space biology and medicine" section. Even the astronauts with their ideal health state experience health problems in space: rising pressure and temperature. Therefore, there is a special area - space medicine, and Ayazhan is looking for ways of its usage on the Earth. She also won the right to enter any university of the country without UNT.
