Voting ballots for presidential elections in Russia to be available in Baikonur

The local election commissions have begun distribution of voting ballots for presidential elections of the Russian Federation in Baikonur.

Baikonur. February 11. Kazakhstan Today - The local election commissions have begun distribution of voting ballots for presidential elections of the Russian Federation in Baikonur. The chairman of the territorial election commission of Baikonur Michael Moskalev informed the agency.

"500 voting ballots have been prepared by the territorial election commission that will be enough so that the citizens of Russia have the opportunity to realize their constitutional right to participate in presidential elections of the Russian Federation," M. Moskalev informed.

"Bulletins for elections will be delivered on February 19 in quantity of 18 thousand. This quantity will be enough for all voters on the day of the elections, March 2. The citizens will be able to receive voting ballots till March 1," M. Moskalev informed.

The territorial polling district in Baikonur is included into 322 polling districts formed abroad by the Russian Federation, which will give an opportunity for the citizens of Russia abroad to participate in the elections.

7 local election commissions have been created on the territory of Baikonur city, the location and borders of polling districts have been defined, the members of the commissions who started work on February 6 have been approved.

Nearly 17 thousand citizens of Russian Federation, having the right to vote, are registered in Baikonur.
