World prices for oil decreased on October 12

The prices for oil at the tenders on Tuesday, October 12, decreased in the background of the increase of the dollar rate in comparison to the euro and expectations that the OPEC member states will accept the decision to leave oil quota without any changes at a meeting in Vienna on Thursday.

Kazakhstan Today - The prices for oil at the tenders on Tuesday, October 12, decreased in the background of the increase of the dollar rate in comparison to the euro and expectations that the OPEC member states will accept the decision to leave oil quota without any changes at a meeting in Vienna on Thursday.

The official cost of the November futures contract (settlement) of North Sea Brent Crude at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) within the last trading day decreased on October 12 from $83.72 to $83.50 per barrel.

The official cost of the November futures contract (settlement) on the American Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) within the last trading day decreased on October 12 from $82.21 to $81.67 per barrel.

The price of the OPEC oil basket (OPEC Reference Basket) increased on October 11 from $79.95 to $80.44 per barrel.
