World prices for oil went up on October 13

The world prices for oil at the tenders on Wednesday, October 13, increased in the background of the decrease of the US dollar exchange rate, growth of import of oil to China, and expectations of stock investors of weakening of the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve System (the USA).

Kazakhstan Today - The world prices for oil at the tenders on Wednesday, October 13, increased in the background of the decrease of the US dollar exchange rate, growth of import of oil to China, and expectations of stock investors of weakening of the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve System (the USA).

The official cost of the November futures contract (settlement) of North Sea Brent Crude at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) within the last trading day increased on October 13 from $83.50 to $84.64 per barrel.

The official cost of the November futures contract (settlement) on the American Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) within the last trading day increased on October 13 from $81.67 to $83.01 per barrel.

The price of the OPEC oil basket (OPEC Reference Basket) decreased on October 12 from $80.44 to $79.64 per barrel.
