Almaty. October 7. Kazakhstan Today - The prices for oil at the tenders on Wednesday, October 6, increased in the background of the proceeded decrease of the US dollar exchange rate and unexpected reduction of stocks of gasoline in the USA.

The official cost of the November futures contract (settlement) of North Sea Brent Crude at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) within the last trading day increased from $84.84 to $85.06 per barrel.

The official cost of the November futures contract (settlement) on the American Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) within the last trading day increased from $82.82 to $83.23 per barrel.

The price of the OPEC oil basket (OPEC Reference Basket) increased on October 5 from $79.95 up to $80.14 per barrel.
