Karaganda. July 15. Kazakhstan Today - Natural factor became the reason of Kuzembaev mine accident in the Karaganda area, vice chief of the regional emergency department, Vladimir Pfarger, informed the agency.
"The committee members signed the report last night. Its conclusions are: the accident in the mine happened due to the natural factor, which could not be predicted. None of the mine staff will be punished," V. Pfarger informed.
As informed earlier, there were coal and gas emissions on June 23, 2010 in the coal department of the Kuzembaev mine of ArselorMittal Temirtau JSC. Two miners died. There were four drift miners at the moment of the accident in the mine. Two managed to rescue themselves and two more remained under the blockages. There were 169 people underground.
The bodies of 27-year-old Marat Abdrahmanov and 50-year-old Serik Zhumashev were taken from the blockages of the fallen mining rock weighting about 400 tons.
The Department of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan of the Karaganda area has instigated a criminal case according to the article 245 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan (Infringement of safety rules of conduct of mining and construction works) after the accident in the coal department of the Kuzembaev mine of ArselorMittal Temirtau JSC.

Due to the second wave of flooding, water level rose again with the overflow at 278 centimeters having increased by 21 centimeters," Kanat Duzelbayev said.
A number of villages in Kyzylzhar district and micro-districts Podgora, Kozhevenny, Zarechny, Kossogor are still under water, with 2,886 residential buildings affected by the flood.
