Sumatra coast hit a powerful earthquake

According to the US Geological Service, the epicenter of the tremors was in 204 kilometers to the northwest from the city Sibolga on Sumatra. The seismic centre was at the depth of 46 kilometers.

There was a 7-6 magnitude earthquake on September 30, 2009 on Sumatra. The epicenter was in 45 kilometers to the northwest from the city Padang. 1 thousand 100 people died and more than thousand people were injured.
