7th meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of ACD countries to take place in Kazakhstan - MFA

The 7th meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) member countries will be held in Kazakhstan. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed during the briefing on Monday, the agency reports.

Astana. October 14. Kazakhstan Today - The 7th meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) member countries will be held in Kazakhstan. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed during the briefing on Monday, the agency reports.

"The 7th meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of ACD member countries will take place on October 16 with participation of the delegates from more than 30 Asian states," Y. Ashikbayev said.

"During the forthcoming meeting the diplomats will discuss many actual problems concerning cooperation in Asia, the questions of energy, food safety, transport, finance, and development of information technologies."

"During the forum there will be meetings with participation of the representatives of some ministries and departments of Kazakhstan. They will make presentations of the concepts of cooperation developed by the Kazakhstan party within the limits of ACD in such spheres as transport, energy, agriculture and finance. Kazakhstan acts as a co-coordinator," the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan explained.

"The session of the senior officials, which will take place on October 15, will precede the meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of ACD member states," he noted.
