Negotiations of Kazakhstan, Belarus PM's began in Astana

The negotiations of the Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan and Belarus - Karim Masimov and Sergey Sidorsky began in Astana, the agency reports.

Astana. September 12. Kazakhstan Today - The negotiations of the Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan and Belarus - Karim Masimov and Sergey Sidorsky began in Astana, the agency reports.

"We are ready to discuss all questions of mutual relations between our countries. We will be further develop friendly mutual relations," K. Masimov said during the meeting with his counterpart.

In his turn, the Prime Minister of Belarus informed, "the overall objective of the visit consists in finding points of mutual contacts between the countries, including the economic issues." He reminded that the national exhibition of Belarus will be opened, where more than 188 Belarus enterprises will participate today in Astana. "We would like the exhibition would become stimulus of development of bilateral cooperation," S. Sidorsky emphasized.

Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Belarus for the first half-year of 2007 reached $250.1 million. In 2006 it made $355.3 million.
