Kyrgyzstan businessmen demand to put pressure upon Kazakhstan through international organizations to open borders
Almaty. May 19. Kazakhstan Today - Kyrgyzstan businessmen have offered the provisional government to put pressure upon Kazakhstan to open borders through the World Trade Organization and the United Nations Organization . The chief executive of the Union of Businessmen of Kyrgyzstan, Chyngyz Makeshev, said at the press conference, the agency reports citing the news agency 24.kg.
According to C. Makesheva, as a result of the economic blockade, the enterprises in Kyrgyzstan incur huge losses. It creates social intensity in the country. "As the provisional government is still illegitimate, we need to use the resources of the international organizations," C. Makeshev said.
In his opinion, "the Kazakhstan authorities, as a matter of fact, have broken one of the rules of the General Declaration of Human Rights as border closing is a prerogative of the Security Council of the United Nations."
He also said that Kazakhstan should not have closed the borders with the WTO member countries, which Kyrgyzstan is.

The laws considered today are aimed at resolving certain issues relating to the activities of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. In particular, the possibility of using the peacekeeping potential of the organization within the United Nations was considered.
