World prices for oil increased on November 25

The prices for oil in the world markets on Thursday, November 25, increased in the background of the weakening of the US dollar exchange rate. The euro remained under pressure on Thursday because of the fuss over the euro zone debt crisis. The American markets were closed because of Thanksgiving Day, therefore, the other markets activity was low.

Almaty. November 26. Kazakhstan Today - The prices for oil in the world markets on Thursday, November 25, increased in the background of the weakening of the US dollar exchange rate. The euro remained under pressure on Thursday because of the fuss over the euro zone debt crisis. The American markets were closed because of Thanksgiving Day, therefore, the other markets activity was low.

The official cost of the January futures contract (settlement) of North Sea Brent Crude at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) within the last trading day went up on November 25 from $85.84 to $86.10 per barrel.

The price of the OPEC Reference Basket on November 24 increased from $80.14 up to $81.16 per barrel.
