World prices for oil went up

The world prices for oil, following the results of the tenders on Tuesday, August 3, went up in the background of the decrease of the American dollar rate as compared to euro and expectations of decrease in stocks of oil in the USA.

Almaty. August 4. Kazakhstan Today - The world prices for oil, following the results of the tenders on Tuesday, August 3, went up in the background of the decrease of the American dollar rate as compared to euro and expectations of decrease in stocks of oil in the USA.

The official price of the September future contract (settle) of the North Sea Brent Crude Oil at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) following the results of the tenders went up on August 3 from $80.82 up to $82.68 per barrel.

The official price of the September future contract (settle) on delivery of Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York commodity exchange (New York Mercantile Exchange, NYMEX), following the results of the tenders, went up on August 3 from $81.34 up to $82.55 per barrel.
