Kazakhstan delegation taking part in 21 inter-religious meeting in Naples

The 21 annual inter-religious meeting with participation of the representatives of various faiths and political leaders that will last for three days opened on Sunday, October 21, in the city of Naples (Italy), the agency reports referring to the press service of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan Today - The 21 annual inter-religious meeting with participation of the representatives of various faiths and political leaders that will last for three days opened on Sunday, October 21, in the city of Naples (Italy), the agency reports referring to the press service of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.

The Kazakhstan delegation headed by the chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, the chairman of the congress of leaders of world and traditional religions Secretariat Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev is taking part in the forum. The structure of the delegation included the leaders of the main religions that exist in Kazakhstan: Islam, Orthodox, Catholicism, Judaism and Lutheran church and also the Senate deputies Serik Ayaganov, Svetlana Zhalmagambetova and Zhakay Nurgaliyev.

Addressing the session participants, the press service informs, K. Tokayev noted, "Kazakhstan firmly supports the objectives and ideas of this forum and considers that it will serve as the important factor in rapprochement of all religions and faiths."

According to the Senate press service, K. Tokayev is expected to make speech in the special section on the theme: Asia and Europe. Collision or Cooperation."

During the Inter-religious meeting public prayer will take place in the name of peace on the squire of National voting in Naples with participation of Pontific and religious officials. The closing ceremony of the forum will come to the end by signing the special Address in the name of peace by the representatives of faiths.
