Session of Council of Prime Ministers of SCO states held in Astana

The session of the Council of Prime Ministers of the SCO member states took place in Astana in a narrow structure on Thursday, the agency reports.

Astana. October 31. Kazakhstan Today - The session of the Council of Prime Ministers of the SCO member states took place in Astana in a narrow structure on Thursday, the agency reports.

Further the session participants will continue the meeting in the expanded structure.

The Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, Kyrgyzstan Igor Chudinov, Russia, Vladimir Putin, Tajikistan, Akil Akilov, the chairman of the State Council of China, Wen Jiabao, and Vice Premier of Uzbekistan, Rustam Azimov took part in the meeting.

SCO states-observers - Minister of Energy of India, Sushilkumar Shinde, the First Vice President of Iran, Parviz Davudi, the Prime Minister of Mongolia, Sanzhagiyn Bayar, the Minister of Defense of Pakistan, Chaudri Ahmed Muhtar, and also the guest of honor, the First Vice President of Afghanistan, Ahmad Ziya Masud participated in the work of the session.

Following the results of the expanded session, the participants signed joint communique and some other documents, concerning cooperation between the SCO member states. During the work of the session the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev met the chairmen of the delegations.
