World prices for oil gone down on October 21

The prices for oil at the tenders on Thursday, October 21, went down in the background of strengthening of the dollar rate and concerns of investors over possible decrease in demand for fuel in China.

Almaty. October 22. Kazakhstan Today - The prices for oil at the tenders on Thursday, October 21, went down in the background of strengthening of the dollar rate and concerns of investors over possible decrease in demand for fuel in China.

The official cost of the December futures contract (settlement) of North Sea Brent Crude at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) within the last trading day decreased on October 21 from $83.60 to $81.83 per barrel.

The official cost of the November futures contract (settlement) on the American Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) within the last trading day decreased on October 21 from $82.54 up to $80.56 per barrel.

The price of the OPEC Reference Basket went down on October 20 from $79.30 to $78.71 per barrel.
