World prices for oil went down on October 15

The prices for oil at the tenders on Friday, October 15, went down in the background of growth of the US dollar exchange rate. In August, the US commodity stocks grew by 0.6 % in comparison with the last month, the United States Department of Commerce data indicate.

Almaty. October 18. Kazakhstan Today - The prices for oil at the tenders on Friday, October 15, went down in the background of growth of the US dollar exchange rate. In August, the US commodity stocks grew by 0.6 % in comparison with the last month, the United States Department of Commerce data indicate.

The official cost of the December futures contract (settlement) of North Sea Brent Crude at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) within the last trading day decreased on October 15 from $84.20 to $82.45 per barrel.

The official cost of the November futures contract (settlement) on the American Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) within the last trading day decreased on October 15 from $82.69 to $81.25 per barrel.

The price of the OPEC Reference Basket increased from $80.90 to $80.95 per barrel.
