World prices for oil went up on October 20

The prices for oil at the tenders on Wednesday, October 20, went up in the background of the increase of oil stocks in the USA but to a lesser degree than it was forecasted and the decrease of the US dollar exchange rate.

Almaty. October 21. Kazakhstan Today - The prices for oil at the tenders on Wednesday, October 20, went up in the background of the increase of oil stocks in the USA but to a lesser degree than it was forecasted and the decrease of the US dollar exchange rate.

The official cost of the December futures contract (settlement) of North Sea Brent Crude at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) within the last trading day increased on October 20 from $81.10 up to $83.60 per barrel.

The official cost of the November futures contract (settlement) on the American Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) within the last trading day increased on October 20 from $80.16 up to $82.54 per barrel.

The price of the OPEC Reference Basket went up on October 19 from $79.03 up to $79.30 per barrel.
