Georgia, South and North Ossetia hit strong earthquake
Almaty. September 8. Kazakhstan Today - Georgia, South and North Ossetia were hit by a 6.2-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale, the USA National Geological Service informed, the agency reports citing RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).
The epicenter of the earthquake was at the depth of 10 kilometers in 155 kilometers to the north-west of Tbilisi.
The representatives of Georgia informed that the earthquake's magnitude amounted to 8 points on the Richter scale.
The tremors proceeded for about two minutes. The citizens of Tshinvali left their houses and are afraid to come back.
