Istanbul’s Academic Community Highly Appreciated the Constitutional Reforms Underway in Kazakhstan

A meeting was held at the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Istanbul with representatives of the city’s leading universities and research centers. The event was dedicated to discussing the constitutional reforms being implemented in Kazakhstan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.

The meeting brought together members of Istanbul’s academic community, including professors, experts, and researchers.

During the discussion, participants were presented with the process of political modernization in Kazakhstan, the conceptual foundations of the new Constitution, amendments aimed at improving the system of public administration, and mechanisms to strengthen the balance between the branches of government. Particular attention was given to legal innovations designed to enhance the protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms.

Representatives of the academic community highly appreciated the systematic nature of the reforms and their focus on strengthening the rule of law and ensuring institutional stability. It was emphasized that the constitutional changes establish a solid legal framework for the country’s long-term socio-economic development.

In his closing remarks, the Consul General of Kazakhstan in Istanbul, Nuriddin Amankul, underlined the strategic importance of the reforms and expressed interest in continuing expert dialogue with the academic community. The Turkish side confirmed its readiness to expand scientific cooperation and further develop the exchange of experience.
