'The Era of Independence' by Nazarbayev presented in St. Petersburg

More than 400 of Kazakhstani students studying in universities of the cultural capital city of Russia took part in a meeting.
A presentation of a book written by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "The Era of Independence" took place at the State University of Saint Petersburg, the press service of the Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan -Elbasy reports.

The event was organized by the Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan -Elbasy and the St. Petersburg State University under the assistance of the Kazakh Embassy in Russia and the General Consulate in Saint Petersburg. Chairman of the Constitutional Council Kairat Mamin, Deputy Executive Director of the Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan -Elbasy Igor Rogov , Deputy Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan Elvira Azimova, Rector of St. Petersburg State University Nokilay Kropachev , heads of the St. Petersburg government, business leaders and well-known cultural figures of the capital city participated in the meeting.

Opening the meeting, Igor Rogov noted the book became a systematic depicture of Kazakhstan’s sustainable development. According to him, the book is a clear message for the future generation which will help to assess the path that has been taken, to learn lessons and to make new achievements.

Following the presentation of the book, the participants met with Kazakhstani students from St. Petersburg universities.

In frames of the event at the St. Petersburg State University, a photo exhibition "Astana - a pearl of Great steppe" was held in the cultural capital city of Russian Federation. The visitors enjoyed more than 60 unique photos of Kazakhstan’s capital city, which will be twenty this year.
